Just got back from a fun few days in Alexandria/DC....Its always so fun to catch up with all my oldest friends that are so responsible for making me who i am. Skating with those guys is unlike skating with anyone else. We've all known each other since we were 14 and learned a ton about life and skating around one another. One thing I noticed more than anything else on this trip is how individual everyone is. Even though we spent 10 years non stop within the same social scenes everyone is 100% unique. We could not see each other for 5 years and still feel like it was yesterday.
After the sentimentality was over, we decided to play a warm up game of SKATE at the park where Two Nine is. Tyler nuked it as usual. Why the dude works for SB and doesn't skate for them is beyond me. Switch BS Flip

Neal is one of the younger Two Niners. I met him a few years ago..He has a bag of tricks for days...FS Blunt.
On the way to the bar we stumbled past the double set we skated every Christmas Day for years. Christmas was the only time you could skate this thing during the day without getting kicked out. Brenden reminisced and ollied it for old times sake. (For the record, I haven't done a damn thing down the big part)
After the session, we finally made it to "Arts Place" for a couple beers. Paul and I got a chance to talk some shit. Anyone you consider a friend is an important piece in the puzzle. Old friends maybe a little more.

2 days in Jackson

Jussi and I headed up to Jackson, WY this week to meet with some of the people behind the new Stash project Burton is doing.....I had only been to Jackson one other time. During mid winter. I knew is was going to be beautiful but I had no idea it was this beautiful!

Before the rest of the crew arrived we hiked 2 miles up this road to this amazing lake. For some reason no one was around. We sent it off this thing a few times. The water was not warm.
Luckily the beers weren't either.

The crew headed to Blotto's house Friday to shoot a pretty cool little video piece. Blotto had to pack and unpack his bags at least 15 times for the shoot. He's not just good behind the camera, he's good in front of it as well.

Making plays at Burton

Tim, Chaka, Alex and I sat down for a little meeting the other day while in VT for the week. Tim started the meeting by describing how the four of us were gonna make a touchdown. Little did he know the marker he used was permanent. Start scrubbing Manning!

Jeremy's shed

There's a cool photo by the beach

My brother has been working on a bunch of stuff for San Diego Mag lately. He's constantly looking for various types of Californiaish shots. I noticed this pretty cool old blazer representing the USA on Memorial Day and we ran down there to shoot it. The weather is unreal in San Diego.These guys were awesome too.



Jussi came down to hang for a bit, he noticed everyone having a good time in the water and jumped in himself.

Getting Critical

Friday we did Critical Mass in San Diego. It was wild. Ended up riding about 20 miles. Had such a good crew and the overall turnout was amazing. 1000 people or so taking over the city.Bikes for daysApparently this chick didnt think it was that awesome.

Solden Leftovers

I had a couple leftover shots from Solden, Austria from a couple weeks ago.In Europe, churches are built anywhere...You constantly see churches in the craziest places. Such as on the top of a mountain next to a giant glacier.
In Europe you also see snowboarders and photographers everywhere. Such as Mu and Cyril. Cyril has been shooting a bunch of Polaroids lately. I need to get one myself. What you dont see everywhere is people trying to film from a giant para-sail/ parachute type thing. These guys tried and tried to get this thing in the air but the thermals and the wind weren't right. They fell hard 3 times in a row. Straight to the face. The crew thought it was funny and everyone helped out by yelling, "Run Forest, Run" each time. I dont think it helped.

Pretty Damn Funny

Birgit found this in a local Austrian newspaper a few weeks back. This was taken a couple months ago when we were on the Post Olympics tour. Someone or other asked us to pose in front of the sleds we were about to ride down a mountain in the middle of the night. The best part is the traditional Austrian band posted up on the side playing the Waltz.Ok, everyone....Act Official

Volcanos make you go to Zurich

The volcano made me fly to Zurich last week and take the 6 hour train ride to Salzburg. Munich would have been quicker but then I wouldnt have these photos....


I had a couple hours to kill in the Zurich Hauptbahnhof.

On my way back

I had a couple super fun days in Innsbruck hanging with the crew....tomorrow im headed home. We shot a pretty rad jump in Solden today......hopefully tonight isn't too much of a doozyThanks for the photo Blotto!

Not a bad couple days off

After the rain came the sun....We had a couple great beach days in the Caymans. I needed a couple days away from computers, emails, etc. Its nice to be back on snow though for at least a couple more weeks.

Looking Down the Snake

Last week Snowboarder Mag set up this private shoot at Keystone called The Launch. One of the features was a snake run that ran down the side of the entire jump line. This is was one of the coolest features I've ever seen and so fun to ride.
