I didn't want to have to comment on your photo in order to send this message, but alas, I have no other way!
I'm a huge fan of your work and I have been for years. I think I'm one of the only people in my hometown that has heard of some of the most exciting indie sports films (like I Ride Park City for instance!) I have been into snowboarding/skateboarding since I was a kid and it's been easy to follow your awesome work.
I'm a film student now (you should consider yourself an inspiration!) and have been trying to see if I could contact you about different things. I'm wondering if you've considered taking on apprentices (even if only for a day or two), etc. and I just thought I'd chat about possibilities. After all, in this business, it's all about networking.
I know you're super busy now that Shaun is all over the news - woooo!!!! - so I'll keep my fingers crossed. I promise I'm not a creeper, I'm really just an aspiring artist as well. Best of luck to you! Keep up the amazing work.

This is really random, but we had this impossible dream of wanting to meet shaun white, and you can make it happen. Before you stop reading, wait!!
We traveled from Toronto to Vancouver on a days notice, got last minute tickets to see the half pipe (which we waited hours for) and then even sat with his entire family - which we thought was the golden ticket to meeting him. BUT NO!
So we made this video documenting our struggle and we know that if shaun see's it ( and yes I have gone on to refer to him by his first name only) we will get to meet him. We need to make this happen. Below is the link.
