A City with Real Culture

Its hard to find US cities that have much historical value or anything even close to cultural significance except on the east coast. The country is young and covered in easily torn down strip malls. The cycle of build and tear down is rampant in this country and very few structures seem built to last. Dont get me wrong. I love the place. But there is something to be said for a structure that was built to stand 100's and 100's of years of weather, people, and war. It was refreshing to walk around Boston for the 1st time and think about all the huge events that took place on those streets and in those halls. I loved it. The place has class.

I believe a historic building is still considered historic if the original wall is standing. Not sure if this is what they are doing with this property or not but none the less i thought it was a cool image.
