Modern Day Favorites
I havent been posting much lately but here are a couple of recent photos that i really like.
LA traffic. i didnt really color this photo. The awesome pollution colored it for me.
We went to a Baltimore Orioles/Yankees game last summer. We had some weird seats. After i turned this photo black and white it reminded me of an old time baseball game. Except for the TV in the top foreground.
This was in Tulsa, OK i think....I cant remember....it was at the airport and i was enjoying people watching these cowboys. Our country is so diverse.
On and Jan rail trip to Duluth,MN I hung outside the window and took a photo of this amazing bridge that goes over Lake Superior toWisconsin. Luckily the shutter speed was off and this photo came out crazy.

A Gondola with a View
Scariest ski lift in the world.

After seeing this thing from town we were pretty excited to try it out...coming over the hill on the way down was not fun..the US would never have cool lifts like this....Mayerhofen Austria

I love DC
I've been slacking on my blog latley...over xmas Danielle came to DC for a couple days and we did some tourist things...its amazing that i have lived there for 15 years and still never been to some of this stuff...anyway, these photos came out pretty cool

This is the Marine Corp memorial, it was built to honor The Battle of Iwo Jima

Vietnam Memorial, every person that died in the wars name is on the wall

WWII memorial...i think this was just built.
I was supposed to leave on Sunday but Anna somehow got us Redskins tickets....football and beer....so damn fun...it rained the entire game.

Anna looked cold
Beers kept me warm.

The MidWest
Since the new MDP site isnt live yet i guess i will be posting my works blogs here for a bit. We just got back from our first trip of the season..It went really really well...I actually cant believe how well it went. It was a better trip that we usually ever have in the beginning of the season.
1st thing 1st, Jordan needed a hammer shot so we made him ollie this hurdle...freakin nuts

We then made little Joe Sexton jump off a building. This didnt work out quite as well as we wanted it too and he ended up dying on one of his attempts
In Minnesota it was cold as you can tell by the ice lips Jordan is rocking
This building was named Thompson, I took a photo of it to show Ryan he officially have a building in the midwest
We found this really good cut off rail. Jon Handled it
Joe caught up on whats going on in VIBE these days

Andy was there taking photos and I was there taking photos of him

I was waiting for the guys to set up so i took a self portrait

We spent alot of time touring around the city looking at every warehouse and building there was.

After looking, we found.

Then we went to eat.

A Room With A View
Welcome Home
We just got back from a really good rail trip in the midwest and I was lucky enough have about 20 military guys on my plane on their way back from Iraq. It was really cool...the people on the plane cheered for these guys a couple times and let them know how thankful we are that they are fighting for us.
I saw this family sitting here, so so so happy that they were together again. It made me feel amazing. The little boy was freaking out cause his dad was home. I wish i could have taken more photos.

Bye Bye Computer
The other day I flew to Cali for some work stuff...my boss grabbed me at the airport and we went to get some food...it was around 8pm...I took my bag out of the back of his truck which couldnt be locked and moved it into the cab (worst mistake ever)...we went in and ate, came back out and drove down to Encinitas.....when i got there i couldnt find my backpack and realized what happened....then 5 minutes later Pierre (boss) realized that all his shit was gone too...here is what got snatched....
p.s. nothing in the back of the trucked was touched
2mackbook pro's which all the music libraries for video stuff
my ipod
my camera bag
my 2Terrabyte hard drive
a hundred bucks of photos i had just got printed that day
pierres GPS with all the rail coordinates for Minnesota and Quebec
Pierres passport and check book
needless to say...im sure the crackheads that stole the shit OD'ed on meth that night.

Brand New was so rediculously good....they played for hours, they played all the best songs and they played so damn well...if you have never heard this band go buy their cd's today....it was amazing...thanks Moriah
I had never been out here....its super wierd
These were actually two of the guys in Thrice.
What is it about beer that makes everything a little more fun?
The Great Salt Lake is really a big puddle...its not deeper than 10 ft and nothing lives in it except this one species of Shrimp....and it smells
This is the place the show was at...I guess in the 40's it was a water park or something?? After the show was over all the ravers showed up. About 5000 of them.
